Bloom Where You Are Planted
Inspired by a sketch by the client, designer Sage Conti created a space that's far from basic white.

Losing the Soffits
Walls and soffits divided the kitchen and adjoining spaces making it dark and compartmentalized. The new layout connects it to all the spaces.

Cooking Zones
Opening up to the adjoining dining room helped this kitchen function for everyone.

Lightened Up
The main footprint of this kitchen didn't change (except for closing off a redundant door), yet the space feels larger and warmer.
Bumped Out Beauty
The original kitchen didn't allow for a full run of cabinetry. A small bump out was the perfect solution and is now a kitchen made for a cook.

Up To Date
Getting rid of the dark cabinetry and taking design chances lead to a very special kitchen where everyone gathers.
